  • Increases for preserved benefits

    From the date you leave the section, your benefits are increased each year in April in line with inflation. You receive the increase when you receive your pension benefits.
    The Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation figure for September 2010 was 3.1%. This will be the cost of living increase to your pension in April 2011.
