    We are committed to helping you appreciate the value of being a member of the Industry Wide Defined Contribution Scheme. Seeing the financial value of your membership is the best way of doing that. Each year we will send you a statement which includes:

    • A breakdown of contributions that have been made to your personal retirement account in the last 12 months.
    • The number and value of units in each of the investment funds held within your personal retirement account.
    • The current value of your personal retirement account. (The value depends on the number of units and the value of those units on a particular date and can, therefore, go down as well as up.)
    • An estimate of the pension that you can expect to receive at normal pension age, providing you and your employer continue to make contributions at the normal rate, until that date. Your estimate will be prepared in accordance with Statutory Money Purchase Illustration regulations.
    • Information about benefits if you die in service.
