  • Transferring in

    Most sections of the scheme will let you transfer in benefits from a previous pension arrangement, registered by HM Revenue & Customs.

    If you change employers within the railway industry and your new employer has a section of the Railways Pension Scheme you may be able to join it and transfer your membership from your old employer's section.

    If you have pension benefits to transfer from a previous pension arrangement (not the Railways Pension Scheme) download an
    Intersections transfer (PM16) Transfer-in (PM16) form.

    If you want to transfer membership from a previous section of the Railways Pension Scheme to your current section download an
     Intersections transfer (PM126) form.
