About the scheme - Leaving the scheme
If you do not wish to continue your membership of the scheme you may opt out by giving your employer and the Trustee Company one month's notice. It is also important to be aware that any entitlement to lump-sum death benefit will stop if you opt out.
If you choose to opt out, you will be allowed to join again only with the consent of your employer and you may have to have a medical examination.
