    About the scheme - Leaving the scheme

  • Between three months and two years membership

    If you have between three months and two years membership when you leave the scheme (and you have not transferred benefits in from another pension scheme) you will be given the option to transfer the value of your personal retirement account to another occupational pension scheme or registered pension arrangement.

    Alternatively you can choose to have a refund of all of your contributions, including any AVCs you have paid, after they have been adjusted to reflect the current investment performance. Tax will also be deducted.
